The Florida Everblades punched their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals with a 3-1 win over the Orlando Solar Bears Saturday night at the Kia Center.
Cole Moberg delivered the game-winner in the final two minutes, breaking a tense 1-1 tie on a power play.
This triumph secured the best-of-seven series 4-1 — marking the Everblades’ astounding 14th straight postseason series win.
Orlando struck first with an early Anthony Bardaro goal, but the Everblades defense clamped down, allowing just 11 shots the rest of the night.
Colton Hargrove tied it in the second, while captain Oliver Chau iced the game with an empty-netter moments before the buzzer.
Goalie Cam Johnson saved 14 shots as Florida outshot Orlando 37-15.
Next up, the Everblades await either Trois-Rivières or Norfolk to continue their pursuit of a fourth consecutive Kelly Cup title.
